My friend and I went to:

Glitter Text Generator at TextSpace.net

According to the news, it was supposed to rain all day, but we still decided to spend the entire day at Disney.
Aside from maybe 20 minutes, we had good weather all day!

Was that the reporter's mistake or Disney Magic

We started the day by exploring Hollywood Studios. After seeing Lion King on Broadway in New York, I fell in love with watching live performances, so I always make sure to catch a show or two, but didn't get around to it this time. Instead we focused on the attractions. We did Rock n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Star Wars 4D Adventure. For the first time ever, I was able to keep my eyes open through Tower of Terror!

After Hollywood Studios, we headed to Magic Kingdom to try and stalk some princesses and eat some yummy snacks. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, the princesses were taking a break from their oh-so-exhausting life of riches and royalty, so we weren't able to get any pictures with them, but we did manage to catch sight of the new princess from BRAVE, and a show with my one true love--Peter Pan

We had a major LOL moment when we were leaving Cinderella's castle. You're supposed to enter on the left side, leave on the right. However, people were entering from both directions, so it was impossible to get to the right side to leave. I got fed up and grabbed my friend and dragged her through the crowd and a bunch of people snapped at me for cutting them off. As we were walking out, I told my friend, "It's not that complicated. Why can't Americans get it? Left is in, right is out. There are even signs. Anyway, if they're not going to play nice, neither am I." A man in of us turned and asked where we were from. My friend told him I was from Japan and she was from Puerto Rico. He laughed and told me I had guts for saying that out loud. He was from Canada and he had been thinking the same thing I had but hadn't dared to say it. We just all started laughing over it.

There was a lot of construction going on. Disney is apparently adding an entire new village and two new castles to the Magic kingdom.  We decided that Disney was going to expand to the point that Florida residents were going to be living inside these little villages.

After Magic Kingdom, we went to Epcot. So much happened there that it deserves a post all to itself.
The rain is insane right now, the power is flashing and a flood warning has been issued so I'm going to go help secure some things in case of a flood.

I know they all aren't =) I know plenty of smart people. I just tend to judge an entire group by the group that's immediately around me at the moment. It could have been a group of Puerto Ricans (Which I am) and I still would have been all "GAHH!! READ THE STUPID SIGNS PEOPLE. I KNOW YOU CAN READ!" I usually forget about it after a day or two. It's no real anger or anything, just momentary frustration.

Disney World is super fun. :3 I've been there once years ago with my family. I had tons of fun when I was there though. I absolutely loved the Tower of Terror even though I hate those kind of rides. XD
You got some really nice pictures when you were there. ^_^

You should definitely go again some time =D Even when older, it's still so much fun because they keep adding new things.

Oh what a lovely time it must have been! I've always wanted to go to Disney World and just haven't been able to for various reasons.

As for the whole thing with the entrance and exit confusion at Cinderella's castle, I couldn't have worded it any better. I had a similar incident when I went to Universal Studios some years ago. Granted it was in a small gift shop but the entrance door and exit door were clearly marked. I think my words were "Can you not read?" after a guy snapped at me and called me a 'stupid brat' for walking out the exit door he wanted to come in. I'm really shocked when this happens but it seems to be so common from what I hear.

I love it! It's so much more fun than Tokyo Disney. It feels totally different.

Wow. That guy. The nerve. I would have smiled sweetly at him and been like "My bad! I must have read this big sign right here wrong. Silly me. Can you tell me what it means?" It's one of my biggest flaws. When you are in the wrong and insult me over it or try to make me feel like I'm in the wrong, I will put you on the spot and make you look like the most ignorant fool ever in life.

Yeah, it's pretty common, unfortunately.

Americans do not read, that is the problem. Every person I know who came here from another country is baffled by how many of us will ask stupid questions rather than look around for a sign. On the other hand, sometimes there are no signs to be found or they are blocked by dumb people going the wrong way, haha.

I've been guilty of asking stupid questions or two but it's usually because as you said, people block the signs or I simply can't understand the sign. Signs are there for a reason. I wish people would use them!

Disney is so awesome!
Rock 'n Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror are my favourite attractions in Disneyland Paris.

I'd love to visit different Disney parks around the world, unfortunately I've only been able to visit the one in Paris =(
but it's nice to read your entry about Disney World, hopefully one day I'll be able to go there as well =D

I still need to go to the one in Paris! I've been to all of them except for the one in France and China. Someone told me that the one in France wasn't so big though?

From what I understand it's bigger than Anaheim but smaller than Disney World ... but then again isn't Disney World about the biggest Disney park there is? =P (Idk about the ones in China and Japan, haven't been there).

Anyway, I've read some blogs of people who visited all the Disney parks in the world and the one in France is usually rated as one of the best, so I guess it is worth a visit - of course almost all the attractions are the same as in the other parks =P

Yeah, Disney World is the biggest =) So far, Tokyo Disney has been the smallest.

I tried looking at the website for the Paris one some time ago, but I was disappointed to see everything was in English--even the voices on the videos! If I go to the one in Paris, I want them to speak French. It's part of the magic.

Maybe I'll look up some blogs about Disney Paris! Thanks for the idea!

Well, most of the time the audio in the park is mixed English & French. I know for Tower of Terror they have the video in English with French subtitles, but also in French with English subtitles (I'm not sure how they decide when to play the English one or when the French, but I've heard both already when I visited the park). A lot of the audio in the attractions is in French, but maybe they put the English ones on the website to make it more accessible for foreigners?

Here's a short video of the Tower of Terror in French: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qAtwU7yVS4

Personally I also prefer the French audios over the English =D

Awww, I wish I can go to Disney World! Also, that's a rather fail moment for people to enter the castle both ways. I don't know why some people would do that. Sorry that you had to be yelled at. ^^;

I remember when I went to Disney Land when I was a kid! That was my only time through my life so far. I had a fail moment of my own - I wandered into the changing room (where people get into their outfits and so forth, it seemed) and I found myself bumping into Eeyore and crying over it. I made good friends with him afterwards, though! XDDD

I have a cousin who works at Disney and she helps with costumes and such for all the live performances. She's offered to take me to the changing rooms but I feel like that would kill the magic. haha.

Churros XD. I haven't eaten any of those here yet but I get them in Tokyo Disney all the time--or rather, my friend get them for me because I'm Latin American and apparently can't live without them!

I think you should go again some time! =D

Sounds like you had a good time :)

I've never been to any Disney parks. I get motion sickness and I don't like heights, so I don't really enjoy theme parks... I'm probably one of the few who don't like them, though.

I'm not huge on attractions. I usually get on maybe five tops and they're pretty spaced out. Heights don't bother me as much any more as long as I can't see for too long.

Usually, we end up walking around a lot just talking and eating. Even without riding anything, Disney is a blast.

I also have the same suspicion on Disney Hong Kong... no matter how bad the weather is forecasted to be, Disneyland Hong Kong is ALWAYS sunny... I keep thinking if they have some kind of force field or magnetic field installed to make that happen.

"An ugly duckling growing out of her feathers."

Hello. I'm Zia, and this is most obviously my journal. I write about my life between Japan and the US, and all the adventures I find myself in. People often say they are envious of the life I seem to live, but the truth is, I feel a little unsatisfied with it myself, so I've decided to do something about it--to find what really makes me happy. Hopefully by documenting my life, I can figure out where I need to be heading. This journal is my way of opening my world to those around me in hopes of meeting people searching for the same thing or encountering people who have already gone through this kind of struggle.

Back in my high school days, I used to be a bit of a nerd. I was really in to comic books of all kinds, action figures...all that jazz.  These days, though my interest in comic books re-surfaces every so often, I'm very much more in to things like fashion, dance, music, travel, tea, baking, writing letters, photography, animals and fitness. I'm a straight shooter--meaning I do not (or rather, can not?) lie. Keeping up with lies is too much trouble.

Anyway, there is more information about me on my profile. Feel free to take a look there or catch me on another site★
