forever_wandering | Plowing through the week! I made it!

Hi! This week has been exhausting, but I survived! I increased my work out to 4 miles (2 running, two power walking up-hill), and added 10 minutes of yoga. I was also a little depressed over finding out via Facebook that my sister planned a family reunion in Hawaii that I wasn't invited to, but I decided not to think about it too much.

I leave for New York in a few days and I still have a million things I need to do before I go. I made a long list in my schedule book. I'll start tackling the tasks tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll also be giving myself a hair conditioning treatment! My hair has been getting a lot better since I stopped using all these heating products. Sometimes, I get tempted to Chemically straighten my hair, but then I remember how damaging it is...

I also narrowed my make-up kit to five simple items! =D I'm going to go with more simple make up this time around. No fake lashes or bold colors. When M-san was here, I wore no make up at all. I felt so naked, but I liked how natural I looked in the pictures. I'm going to try to keep that look with my make up now. I'll keep the flashy make up for the club scene.

There is also a wig in my closet I need to re-style for days I don't feel like brushing my hair. Haha. Oh Jesus, am I getting that lazy? ~~No! If Lolita girls can wear wigs when they want, so can I, damn it.~~

I keep getting calls from someone in Puerto Rico. I don't know who they are but every time I answer, they say "Ei ma, que hace?" Hey girl, what'cha doing? I have a few guy friends still in Puerto Rico, but he doesn't sound like any of them, and I figured that after a week of creeping me out, they'd finally confess and laugh at me for freaking out. I thought about blocking the number but it's almost 6 dollars a month to keep that one number blocked. That's $72.00 a year on someone I don't know...

That's money I have but don't want to spend at the moment. I just finished paying $300.00 at an evaluation center to get my transcripts from フェリス女学院, Rosemont and UAS combined. I should have done this a long time ago. I was two courses shy of completing a degree at フェリス女学院. I was one course shy of finishing a degree at Rosemont. Courses I took at UAS had been for fun so I never expected credit for them, but it turns out I can. Now that the three have been combined... catch this....if I take only two more courses, I can end up with two different Degrees. I guess the $300 was worth it. I need to e-mail Ferris and arrange to take those two courses. Even with a degree though, I don't know if I'll look for a different job once I go back. I kind of liked working at the restaurant I was at before. The pay was decent and my co-workers were tremendously kind. I'll call Kanae once I get back from NY and see what my chances are of going back to work there. Until then, I should have fun and practice my "いっらしゃいませ～”'s~!

I use moroccan oil in my hair because I straighten mine all the time, and it actually keeps my hair feeling really nice. I'd love to chemically straighten my hair too but I'm terrified of anything that will really damage my hair because it has taken me so many years to get it long so I don't want to do anything to lose it.

I totally want a wig, for no reason other than just because I want one. My mum used to wear wigs in the 70s lol.

That random call is so weird. They say that same thing every time? Creepy.

Well, my previous boyfriend's mom kept nagging and nagging over my curly hair and so I ended up chemically straightening it to keep her off my back, then continued doing it for some time after that. So I basically, I've had chemically filled hair since I was 18 until now, at 23.
It looks nice when you do it but it's such murder if you don't maintain it.

It's amazing stuff! A little expensive sometimes but it's brilliant. You put just a little bit in your hair and it makes it so soft and so shiny instantly. Not sure about the technical details, but it makes my hair feel so wonderful.

What the heck? What was her problem with curly hair?? Sorry, but she sounds like a bit of a nutter. It's your hair, why does it concern her? Jeez.

I tried one of those brazilian straightening do it yourself kits and it didn't do a damn thing, I was totally prepared for it to be a load of bullshit so I wasn't too pissed off about it.

As long as the product works as well as it's supposed to, I don't mind "A little expensive." I'll look it up!

She said my curly hair was difficult to style and didn't look right when I had to wear Kimono. She didn't want to be with me if I was going to stick out like a sore thumb. She really hated me back then. We're great friends now.

I never tried the DIY ones. I don't trust myself enough to. I went to the salon each time. It usually lasted about a year for me.

It's pretty great, as long as you make sure to invest in one that doesn't look like it belongs with a Halloween costume. I'm going to post pictures of my different ones, later.

Yeah, I'm super busy, too! Work is crazy, lots of overtime. I'm exhausted and still no day off ahead of me. *sigh*

I thought about doing that and giving it a silent ringer so I never notice, but it's going to be annoying to keep seeing "Missed call" on my screen. I'm going to make sure there aren't any apps for the iPhone that blocks numbers. If not, I'm going to go ahead and do as you suggest.

I've actually gotten into makeup myself recently though I don't use it everyday. I love eyeshadow.

Yeah, I will. I might as well. No matter what, I have to go back there because of the apartment. Even if I decide to give it up, there are still things there that I'd have to take care of, unless I let them just trash everything inside.

I use it every day! I have ton's and tons of it. Eyeshadows are definitely the best part of my collection.

Yeah! Sidewalks are hard on the knees. I have a running machine in my house though, so I run on that =) I only run outside on occasion, to see the sunrise.

I have stationar bike ! However I hate running machine, I prefer breath with fresh air ;3

I love fresh air! But actually, around here, there is no clear running path with a nice view. The only path is right next to the main road, so it's not as nice. It's noisy and smells like dirt and gas. This was why I bought the running machine. My lungs can't handle such pollution. When I am in Japan though, I run outside every day =D

ah I understand it.. that's sucks... eh honestly in city should be bigger part of park or green area to work out ;3
