Winter Make Over

I've been heavily conditioning my hair these days. I wake up, add conditioner, put on a heat cap, then toss on a wig so that I can leave the conditioner in as long as possible. Pretty soon, I'll have to chemically straighten my hair again, so I'm trying to strengthen my hair as much as possible until then. Surprisingly, a lot of people don't even realize I'm wearing a wig. I've also had people ask me what brand of fake eye-lashes I use, but in reality, I don't use fake lashes at all. Mine are just naturally long and thick.

Less than a month until I meet up with my sempai and old classmates in Yokohama, so I'm really thinking about what kind of image I want to meet them in. I was known for being the always-on-the-move-party girl who mostly associated with those of the B系 fashion style. I still want to maintain that image but I want to do it in a way that still shoes I've matured. Basically, I'm swapping in the American "thug-style" I used to wear back then for a more...taylored B系 image. And so far, my absolute musts are:

What kind of style do you follow? Have you changed your style recently?
It seems like lately all I think about is fashion. That's because for the first time in a long time, even though I don't feel 100% pleased with the way I look now, I don't feel like I'm hideous. I'm finally starting to understand what does and doesn't suit me, and what kind of person I want to become. They say looks aren't everything, but I think we can all agree that looks play an important part in how we're treated and what doors open for us.
Which leads to my next announcement:
I received two meishi over the past couple of days. One from a man who works for a project managment company in Tokyo, and the other from a man who works for a publishing company in Yokohama. Both told me to contact them if I ever considered making the move from Kansai to Kantou.  I'll try to visit both companies next month.

This wig looks great on you, that's so natural, it took me some time to realize what was the difference between the two pictures :D
Your style is simple and class to me, you don't need more, it's enough and the most important is that you feel confortable enough in your clothes -^ ^- the juicy couture perfume smells so goooood ~ ♥ you have great tastes ♥

I don't any particular type of style, which really bugs people which i find funny lol they try and put me in boxes, but its never the same box. I get told it's chavvy, then goth then emo then glam, indie nerd, bohemian, country lady, rockabilly, 60s chic, grunge, urban, etc. when in truth it's literally whatever i like.

Now that it is considerably cooler here, I quite possibly will be following a similar regimen as you with my own hair (mostly to keep me from cutting it again and to use less heat styling). I've dyed it quite a bit, so I think it could use the extra care.

I've never consciously followed a style but if I am to take what people say to heart then my style has changed. Before I was told that my style was reminiscent of the "gangster style" but now I often am told that I look more "rock," "hippie," or "chic" and I'm still not too sure what they meant by the last two.

Nice pictures. I wouldn't have thought it was a wig either - it looks too natural!

wow, who knew that attending lectures actually did have a point. I actually know what "meishi" means from my 1st semester~~~~ 8D good luck with both of the companies~~~~!!!

as sad as it is, but looks are important in this society. They say that what's inside that matters, but the truth is, if people don't like what's outside, they won't even bother to look what is inside :/
but am really happy to hear that you are pleased with the way you look~ That is something i am always envious in people, so don't ever loose that love for yourself ;D

I would've never guessed you were wearing a wig on first glance!

look isn't everything, but if you feel pretty and have outfit give you confident then it can be everything!!
I love your red jacket <33333 christmas >3<
For me fashion is not that important, I'm more into useful style or whatever , but slowly I try to find my own style. It's not easy because I've always love few quite oppositi things/styles.

I didn't realize that was a wig when I first look at the photo!!! It looks so natural! You look so cute with that hair style ♥!

Maybe is because japanese people don't have natural big eyelashes... maybe that's why they think yours are fake =/!

Viva La Juicy ♥!!!!
Loved that red coat ♥!

What kind of style do you follow? Have you changed your style recently?
I liked gyaru when I was on high school. But I "graduated" to onee... Well, I am a oneegyaru in training because I will never look as stylist as those japanese girls and I cannot afford the brands they wear xDDDD! I also love mode fashion =)
I believe fashion is a way of expressing who we are without actually talking... Things "talk" so does clothes...
Agree, as we grow up, we change they way we dress. Maybe because we see things we different eyes than we used to...

The two of them are wigs? I think the one without the watermark looks a little more natural on you but you look great in both :D. I can't really tell what my style is tbh, but I do agree that fashion is definitely a way to express ourselves. I try to buy w/e I think looks better on me :D
Best of luck visiting those companies!
